….Authorities Shift date by two weeks
September 19 has been fixed for schools resumption from the original September 6 by the federal capital territory Administration, following sudden rise in Covid-19 cases in the capital city

Uzoanye Man, acting Director Of Quality Assurance in the FCT Education secretariat says in a letter to all public and private schools to open on September 19 for boarding students and Monday, September 20 for day student
The notice also Says First semester will close December 17 and proceed on a three weeks break to resume January 9 for second term, while third term resumes on May 1 after another three weeks holiday.
The notice direct all schools to observe all public holidays as may be approved by Government, while calling for continuous observance of COVID-19 protocols of hand washing, using hand sanitizers and use of face mask
