So many young persons arround Nigeria have used the yuletide Season to hang out with friends, family and loved ones, but one of the millions of these young persons did not make it to see a brand new year after probably having a nice time with a suspected male partner.
The Plateau Police Command, North Central Nigeria, has found the corpse of A 300L female student of the University of Jos in a hotel room in jos, after she was declared missing on December 31, 2021,
According to a statement from the police, the deceased, a Student of the Department of special Education and Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Jos, has been identified as Jennifer Anthony.
The statement said she was said to have told her parents in Abuja that she was coming for a job interview in Jos, but ended up in a hotel with a man.
In a viral video going round on social media, Jennifer was seen with a young man cruising in a car round Jos City.
The state Police Command spokesman Assistant supritendant of police, ASP Gabriel Ubah, said the incident was reported to the command and on reaching the scene, it was discovered that Jennifer’s remains have been dismembered, with her eyes and other parts found missing.
Ubah added, that investigation is currently ongoing and the command has made significant progress in trailing the suspects who committed the evil act.
According to the Police Spokesman, the Plateau State Commissioner of Police also held an emergency meeting with all hoteliers in Plateau State where he gave them security tips on how to adequately secure their hotels to avert the reoccurrence of such ugly incidents.
Neither the parent of the late student or the University of Jos management are yet to react to the development, but the police have deposited Jennifer’s body at the Plateau Specialist mortuary.
